FLOOD BUSTER receives Distinguished Invention Award for “a rainwater pump that increases or decreases its discharge volume depending on the rise or fall of the water level. FLOOD BUSTER has realized a technology that increases or decreases the discharge volume by itself, while smoothly sucking in air as the water level rises or falls, which was impossible with conventional technology. The award was given in recognition of the novelty and superiority of the technology and its ability to operate stably at all times regardless of the water level, as well as the many social applications that have followed its invention.
Since this award was selected after an impartial review by public organizations and third-party academics, the technology has received public endorsement and will be used not only in Japan but also throughout the world.
